PlatformConstruction
A field-operations OS that replaced four tools and the owner's notebook
Built for a Texas construction company
One login replacing Joist, Google Calendar, phone notes, and spreadsheets — data flows once from estimate to signed proposal to job to work order to invoice.
4+
tools replaced by one login
~40
serverless functions in production
3
role-based experiences (owner / office / crew)
The problem
The owner ran a growing construction company from disconnected apps: estimates in one tool, scheduling in another, job notes on a phone, invoices retyped by hand. Nothing talked to anything, and every handoff leaked money.
What we built
- Locked estimating engine driven by the company's own cost master — the system never invents prices
- Estimates become signed proposals with e-signatures, then jobs, work orders, and Stripe-payable invoices — data entered once
- QuickBooks two-way invoice sync and Google Calendar two-way scheduling
- AI bid-lead intake that reads incoming plan-room emails and drafts qualified leads automatically
- An in-app AI assistant trained on a built-in help center, so staff get answers without calling the developer
- Crew mode: a mobile app for field workers with work orders and photo uploads — pricing kept invisible to crews
The outcome
Live in production and running the company's day-to-day operations, with owner, office, and crew roles all working from the same source of truth.
